News on Riverwalk as of 05/03/07 In April, 2007, the Johnson County Plan
Commission decline to hear Indiana Land Development's (ILD) application
for a preliminary master plan for the Riverwalk subdivision. This
denial requires ILD to either resubmit their subdivision plan in
accordance with the procedural requirements of the Planned Unit
Development process (neighborhood meetings, etc), reconfigure the
subdivision as smaller than 100 acres, or abandon the project. We are
appreciative of Johnson County's concern over the potential impact of
Riverwalk on our neighborhood and its willingness to hold ILD to the
rules that it has established. In the event you have any questions, please feel
free to contact me. |
